What types of safaris does Nhongo Safaris offer?

Nhongo Safaris specializes in open vehicle safaris to the Kruger National Park, with packages ranging from 2-day to 7-day adventures. You can choose from budget, standard, or luxury options and we also offer tailor-made safaris to suit your specific interests. Daily departures are available and require a minimum of two guests per booking.

How far is Kruger National Park from Johannesburg, and what are the travel options?

Kruger National Park is approximately 400 to 500 kilometers (about 250 to 310 miles) from Johannesburg, depending on which gate you enter. Travel time by road is around 5 to 6 hours. You can choose to drive, take a scheduled shuttle, or opt for a short domestic flight from Johannesburg to airports near the park such as Nelspruit (KMIA), Hoedspruit, or Skukuza. Nhongo Safaris offers convenient pickup options from Johannesburg, making your journey to the wild both comfortable and hassle-free.

Is it safe to go on a safari with Nhongo Safaris?

Yes, safety is a priority. Nhongo Safaris uses purpose-built open vehicles with safety rails and belts, maintained for reliability. Highly trained guides ensure a secure experience, and lodges have safety protocols, including escorts in some camps.

Do I need to book in advance for a Kruger National Park safari?

Yes, booking in advance is highly recommended, as Kruger National Park destinations can be fully booked up to 11 months ahead. Early reservations ensure your preferred dates and accommodations.

What accommodations are available during the safari?

Nhongo Safaris offers a range of accommodation options to suit every travel style and budget. You can choose from budget-friendly safari camps, comfortable standard lodges, or upscale luxury stays, all located either inside or near the Kruger National Park. Each option includes en-suite bathrooms, daily housekeeping, and access to on-site dining. For those seeking something extra special, we also offer private lodge experiences with added exclusivity and personalized service.

Are there mosquito nets in Kruger National Park accommodations?

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast

How to Change my Photo from Admin Dashboard?

Kruger Park huts have screened doors and windows to keep mosquitoes out, and external spraying is done when needed. However, mosquito nets are not provided in the huts.
