Full Day Open Vehicle Game Drive

Our Full Day Game Drives are an immersive experience, lasting approximately 10 hours. We typically depart from Hazyview between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM (seasonally adjusted) to ensure we are among the first through the gates. This maximizes your chances of seeing nocturnal animals before they settle in for the heat of the day.

While the tour price covers your expert guide and vehicle, meals are generally enjoyed at one of the Kruger National Park’s Rest Camps (such as Skukuza or Lower Sabie). Most lodges in Hazyview provide pre-packed breakfast boxes for their guests. We will stop at a scenic camp for a mid-morning breakfast break and again for a lunch break where you can purchase a warm meal at the restaurant or deli.

Absolutely. The Full Day safari allows us to venture deeper into the park, visiting different eco-zones and waterholes that are inaccessible on shorter tours. This significantly increases the variety of birdlife and mammals you’ll encounter, as we can travel further into areas where animal sightings have been reported earlier in the day.

Our open safari vehicles are equipped with all-weather ponchos for unexpected rain and fleece blankets for the chilly morning air. We also provide on-board mineral water to keep you hydrated throughout the day. While there are no restrooms on the vehicle, your guide will plan regular stops at safe, fenced rest camps with full restroom facilities.
