Half Day Open Vehicle Game Drive

Morning drives typically start at sunrise to catch predators while they are still active and the air is cool. Afternoon drives focus on the transition to dusk, offering incredible “Golden Hour” photography opportunities and the chance to see animals congregating at waterholes before sunset. Both offer a high probability of Big Five sightings.

We offer convenient pickups from most lodges in the Hazyview area. Please note that Kruger National Park conservation fees (daily entrance fees) are generally not included in the tour price and must be paid at the gate in cash or via credit card, unless specified in your booking.

Since our vehicles are open to the elements, we recommend dressing in layers. Even in summer, early mornings can be chilly. Be sure to bring:

• Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
• Your camera and binoculars.
• A light jacket or windbreaker.
• Identification (ID or Passport) for gate entry.

Yes, we welcome families! However, for safety and the comfort of all guests, we typically have a minimum age requirement of 6 years old for shared open vehicle drives. If you have younger children, we highly recommend booking a Private Vehicle option so we can tailor the experience to your family’s pace.
