4 Day Budget Kruger Safari

Our safari adventure begins as you depart Johannesburg in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, receiving a warm welcome from Nhongo Safaris. Upon arrival outside the Kruger National Park, you’ll meet your dedicated Nhongo guide and transfer to an exciting open safari vehicle for your park entrance. You’ll slowly make your way to the camp, immediately immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the African bush. After checking in and settling into your accommodations, you’ll embark on an exhilarating afternoon game drive to explore the park’s diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. As the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll return to camp to relax and reflect on your exciting first day before enjoying dinner at the camp (at your own account).

Your second day begins with an early morning wake-up for a pre-sunrise game drive, departing just before the camp gates open. As you drive, you’ll enjoy the natural splendor of Kruger, with your experienced guide sharing fascinating stories of the park’s ecology and history. You’ll stop at a designated picnic area or camp for breakfast (at your own account) before continuing the morning game drive, returning to camp around midday for some downtime. In the afternoon, you’ll head out on another safari through the park, seeking wildlife until the sun sets, casting a magnificent warm glow over the landscape. Finally, you’ll return to camp for dinner (at your own account), where you can share stories of the day’s incredible adventures under the vast, starry sky.

Today starts with an early morning game drive departure, with the exact timing set by your guide to maximize wildlife viewing. During the drive, you’ll stop for a hearty breakfast (at your own account) before continuing the game drive to seek out more encounters with Kruger’s diverse wildlife. You’ll then return to camp for some mid-day downtime, where you can relax, take a siesta, visit the camp shop, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. At 15:30, you’ll depart for another game drive, exploring the park until the gates close as the sun sets. Finally, you’ll return to camp for dinner at your own account.

For your final day, you’ll embark on a sunrise game drive to bid a memorable farewell to the wilderness, stopping along the way for a delicious breakfast (at your own account). By 11:00 AM, you will exit Kruger National Park and begin the journey back to Johannesburg, with the expected arrival time between 17:00 PM and 18:00 PM, depending on traffic and road conditions.
