My wife and I recently completed a 7 day safari with Nhongo Safaris and had a great experience. Our guide, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. With 7 days we got to visit all the areas of the park and saw a variety of landscapes and animals. The price of this trip was unbeatable and the accommodations and food were great. We had previously done a 5 week camping safari in Africa, so having rooms with full kitchens, A/C and patios felt luxurious! All of the campsites had restaurants, but I'd have to say that Cattle Baron was our favorite.
Myself and my boyfriend enjoyed this safari so much. We did a 7 day trip and it ended up being just us two on the jeep. From pickup at the airport to the very end the whole experience was so smooth and easy. The safari itself was incredible, we saw so many animals (lions, cheetah, leopards, elephants, rhinos, wild dogs, wilderbeest, buffalo, hippos, crocs, giraffes many antelopes) and birds (secretary bird was one of my favourites) and it was so relaxing and fun being driven around with the wind and sunshine. The places we stayed in the park were lovely-some incredible views.
We travelled to South Africa on our honeymoon in October last year and, of course, it was incredible. At much time spent researching different tours for the perfect safari we decided on Nhongo. From the very initial emails of enquiry with Verity, to the day we landed in Phalaborwa, we were looked after with an unbelievable amount of care and attention to detail.
