This is my 3rd trip with Nhongo Safaris so my expectations were very high. I am very happy to report that they were fully met from the ease of booking to the very last day. The weather was variable but the game vehicle and Nhongo provided all the protection needed to keep us dry and warm. As said earlier, this is my third trip with Nhongo, each time with a different and excellent guide so I can heartily recommend them and for sure will be looking forward to trip no 4 in the future.
We were a group of 3 friends visiting South Africa together in March 2020, and had Gert as a tour guide for 4 days on our Adventure Safari. We could not have asked for a better guide or experience! He was patient with our many questions, knowledgeable about every plant and animal, and stopped to explain what we were seeing. The booking process with the company was fairly easy and straightforward. They answered our many questions and concerns with patience.
We had a fantastic safari experience. We stayed one night at Berg en Dal and two nights at Pretoriouskop. Each day was a bit different, which kept things lively. Our guide made sure that we appreciated Kruger as an ecosystem. The groups are kept relatively small- it was just two of us for the first half and then three more for the second half, in a vehicle that can easily fit ten. This also helped us get to know our guide and each other quite well. We would highly recommend!
All I can say is WOW. We had a wonderful experience on our four-day adventure safari. Working with Nhongo was a breeze.
