We had a group of 6 friends travelling together and booked 2x day private tours with Nhongo Safaris. Verity did a great job in arranging our whole-day tours. Everything went very smooth and according to the plan from the very beginning to the end of the tours. Robbie is extremely, extremely knowledgeable, funny person with a lot of experience in the bushes. He drove us in the Park explaining the life of the animals-their habits, lifestyle, and behavior.
Not sure we could have asked for a better experience or guide for our Safari! went with a good friend and girlfriend for a full day safari. Obviously we had high hopes to see a few of the big 5, but knew seeing all of them would be quite hard/rare. Our guide CLINT set this expectation from the beginning, but said we would try our best. From the beginning we saw upwards of 30 elephants in about 7 different locations including a baby. One of the most amazing experiences of our lives!
We didn't know Nhongo and were quite nervous about just booking over the internet and trusting everything would be Ok but based on previous trip advisor comments and the very positive experience we had with Verity from the moment of first contact, we soon realised that this was a company that cared deeply for its clients. Everything ran like clockwork. our guide, who looked after us throughout our stay was a superstar! Great company, wonderful humour.
