This safari made the entire trip to South Africa worth it.. Our guide, was amazing and you could really tell he cared a tremendous amount about his work and about working with and protecting the animals. We saw 7 white rhino, 2 black rhino, 2 leopards, 3 lions, 3 packs of wild dogs, multiple breeding herds of elephants, many giraffes, buffalo, wildebeests, dwarf mongoose, and many types of antelope. This trip is worth every penny, and we don't regret it in the slightest.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 4 amazing days in Kruger National Park with Gert - the South African version of Crocodile Dundee. If you don't know, who Crocodile Dundee is, look it up and then book a trip with Nhongo Safaris. It was educational, fun, exciting (a baby rhino and its mother ran out in front of our car and time froze). For those about to book at safari; make sure you get a ranger that actually cares about the park, his job and the animals. It makes all the difference.

This was a phenomenal safari. Nhongo and the guide, Kara, exceeded every expectation. Accommodations were amazing, food was great, and the whole experience was truly outstanding. As a single female traveler, I felt very safe and well taken care of. erity and Sean made the booking process very easy and even though this was a "budget" safari, the rooms and bathrooms were very nice, and I didn't feel like I was travelling on a budget. I would absolutely book with Nhongo again.

We were picked up at our hotel right on time and were driven to Kruger park from Johannesburg. We saw the big five our second day and then some! Our guide was so patient unlike other guides from other safaris companies that we saw. I felt like I was in the national geographic when we saw the wild dogs. Aside from the Nhongo safari guide being completely awesome and amazing at his job, the campsite was nice. A lot of monkeys roaming around. This is worth your money 1000%.
